6/8/20 Update: Last week we were able to deliver to two powerhouse hospitals again! Providence Everett and Harborview Seattle both gratefully received delicious and satisfying meals to boost their teams spirits. Your support is helping these folks continue moving us towards a healthy future!
5/26/20 Update: This week we delivered meals all across town from the Edmonds Swedish Radiology team to the Harborview ER group. These folks enjoyed smoked pork sandwiches, spicy black bean and corn soup, and crispy tortilla chips. With your help our local heroes are feeling zesty and fresh!
5/18/20 Update: Your support last week brought us to the Carolyn Downs Family Medical center in the heart of the Central District Downtown Seattle. This vibrant, active and diverse clinic is a reflection of the community it serves and we were thrilled to be able to deliver 50 full meals to their fantastic team through your support!
5/11/2020 Update: Last week we delivered many more meals to our hospitals and their priceless essential workers! We brought delicious and nourishing food to Harborview, Providence Everett, and UW Northwest hospital. We were greeted with eager smiles and hungry bellies! It is through YOUR community support that we are able to keep fueling our front-line workers and keep them feeling cared for, as they keeping caring for us. Thank you for your amazing generosity Edmonds, let’s keep this up!
4/25/2020 Update: Chili was served today to 50 medical personnel at Harborview Medical Center along with another seven meals to South County Fire at the Lynnwood station! Looking forward to the next wave of meals to be delivered to medical staff in the coming weeks along with new branding for our Community Kitchen. Please help spread the word as every little bit counts.
4/23/2020 Update: Today’s delivery included 40 meals to Swedish Edmonds Medical Center and 10 meals to the North Shore Fire Department. Front line workers got to enjoy a delicious scratch made Beef & Pork Chili with House Tortilla Chips!
4/21/2020 Update: Another 50 meals delivered today to the staff at Providence Medical Center in Everett! Today’s meal features a Pulled Pork Carnitas Torta accompanied by house made salsa and chips. Looking forward to the next few deliveries to Swedish Edmonds and Harborview Medical Center this week!
4/15/2020 Update: We are proud today to serve 50 meals to medical staff at Harborview Medical Center. We want to thank all those on the front line for your hard work and dedication at one of the busiest emergency rooms on the West Coast! The meal on the left was our Fried Chicken Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, the right our vegan Watermelon and Corn Salad with toasted nuts and field greens.
4/11/2020 Update: Next delivery completed today was to the fine people at the Mukilteo Fire Department. These fine people are on calls constantly being exposed to different environments and always available in an emergency situation. We want to thank the EMT’s, Firefighters and Dispatchers for keeping us safe!
4/9/2020 Update: Swedish Edmonds Radiology received 40 orders of our Cheese Steak recently debuted at Salt & Iron Pop-Up! Thank you for your hard work and sacrifice. We are continuing to see strong support for meals and are actively scheduling in slots at other area hospitals, EMS/Fire support and clinics.
4/3/2020 Update: Swedish Edmonds Emergency was the first recipient of our Community Kitchen meals consisting of delicious fish tacos from our sister restaurant The MARKET located in Downtown Edmonds currently offering takeout! More details to come on our next few donated meals to those on the front line.
4/1/2020 Update: We’ve had an amazing response from the public and are excited to get the program rolling! We are currently sending 136 meals into production for this next week’s delivery to Swedish Edmonds, Swedish Radiology, Providence Everett and Harborview Medical! Stay tuned to this page for additional updates and photos that we will post of the product we’ve served and the people we’ve delivered to.
