Shooby Doo Catering, which has been the longest operating company at Feedme Hospitality & Restaurant Group, will be providing donated food services to children in need. Through the generosity of our community participants, we will not only be able to deliver full meals to programs like Washington Kids in Transition, but also keep our staff employed during the devastated state of the Catering & Events Industry.

A $15 purchase can supply a child with a nutritious and delicious meal during these very uncertain times. This program is OPEN TO ALL AGE GROUPS depending on the organization distributing the meals. We will be starting production once we reach 50 or more combined purchases and will continue production in increments of 50 or more according to supply and demand. You will be notified each time your meal gets delivered to a specific program! Thank you so much for your support.

5/18/20 Update: Last week we received a generous donation from the amazing Ellenos Greek Yogurt company for our next donation of meals going out this week! Stay tuned for an update on what the kids will be eating in addition to their amazing yogurt!

5/11/20 Update: Since our last post we’ve been able to deliver hundreds more nutritious and delicious meals for the children of the Edmonds School District Foundation. Our goal is to be able to continue this program as long as possible and with your support we will be able to! Thank you to the kind and giving patrons of our fantastic home-town of Edmonds!

4/17/2020 Update: Another 200 meals went out today to children in the Edmonds School District as they went home with delicious Braised Beef Ragu Pasta and Garlic Cheese Bread. Our friends over at Hunni Co. partnered with us a donated several flavors of Hunni Water #Kindness brand making positive social impact through bringing people together! Because school has been canceled for the rest of the year, it is even more important for us to keep this campaign going through the generous sponsorship of the community.

4/3/2020 Update: Today we produced 300 meals to the kids in the Edmonds School District converting our banquet room at Salt & Iron into a production zone for boxed lunches. We want to thank our weekly delivery helpers for picking up and dropping off the goods! In addition, we are continuing our promise to feed 500 seniors through weekly orders via the Edmonds Senior Center. It is because generous community sponsorship that we are able to provide these services to all those in need.

3/27/2020 Update: To date, we have contributed a total of 310 meals to the Edmonds School District Foundation with today’s amount totaling 185 box lunches! With the overwhelming positive response from last weeks delivery, the ESDF has requested 300 meals to meet demand for Friday 4/3/2020. With additional support, we can continue funding this project and keeping children fed and employees working!

3/21/2020 Update: We continue to see the generosity of the community reaching 479 contributed meals! Once we hit 500, Feedme Hospitality & Restaurant Group is committed to donate 500 non-perishable items to local food banks. We would like to further this campaign of giving: FHRG will donate 500 additional meals to Local Seniors in need during this pandemic via the Edmonds Senior Center Non-Profit. We just ask the Community make it their goal to raise 1000 total meals over the course of our closure. #FORTHESENIORS (FHRG Sponsored Senior Meals Served as of 4/17/2020: 39)

3/20/2020 Update: Today we donated 125 meals to Edmonds School District Foundation’s Nourishing Network program who feed children of all ages in the district! More children and families showed up than expected, so we are ramping up for the next batch to distribute 175 on Friday 3/27/2020. Thank you all for your support!

3/16/2020 Update: In light of the recent proclamation made by Gov. Jay Inslee, all restaurants and bars will be required to be closed except for take-out. This means it’s even more important for our community to gather resources to help. At this point, anything helps us keep production going for kids meals to be donated! We thank you for your support.

3/15/2020 Update: What an amazing response! As of 11:30am today we are at 128 meals and are gearing up for two deliveries. We will be posting photos of the meals delivered upon production!

3/14/2020 Update: Thank you all for taking the time to donate! The opportunity to feed kids is far from over. We have our first lot ready for production and delivery scheduled, and want to keep this program going week after week in order to continually feed kids until school is back in session. If the total donation amount reaches 500 meals, Shooby Doo Catering will match that donation in quantity of canned goods for local food banks!

3/13/2020 Update: We have spoken to several school districts including Edmonds & Shoreline and have voiced their interested in providing dinners for children. They are tracking roughly 90-120 children coming through for sack lunches on a daily basis. Our goal is to get the first lot of 50-100 meals going to provide dinner services. THE MENU

All #FORTHEKIDS Menus will be available upon request and will consist of several options for your child to choose from. We take pride in preparing healthy and balanced meals for the general public and can modify the meals according to special dietary restrictions.

THE DINING EXPERIENCE

We aim to provide you with the same quality dining experience you have always had at all our locations. We also encourage you to call in orders for customer pickup to help slow the spread of the virus. The #FORTHEKIDS program will not be available through any Food Delivery Services like Grubhub or Doordash due to the complication of implementation. Pick up your takeout order and eat it in the comfort of your own home!

THE PROGRAM

The #FORTHEKIDS program applies to all kids twelve years or younger during normal business hours. Free Kids Meals available only with qualifying purchase which may differ at each participating restaurant. One Free Kids Meal valid per child per visit. The #FORTHEKIDS program will end when the Edmonds School District is back in normal classroom session or when Feedme Hospitality & Restaurant Group terminates the program. This program is not valid with any other promotion, program or discount. All menu items, terms & conditions may change anytime without notice.
